What if you died this moment, what would happen to you?

You've lived a 'good' life, been a 'nice' person, and never done anything really all that bad. You've helped your neighbor when he needed it, never stolen, never killed anyone, and always paid your taxes.

Would you go to Heaven or Hell?
How do you know?

Would God let you in Heaven because you were a good person?
Hey, you've earned it, right?

WRONG!

If you died today, without the love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in your heart, you would be seperated from God forever and condemned to an eternity in Hell. There is no everlasting life without Jesus.

John 6:47 (NKJV) says, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life."

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV) says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."

John 3:16 (NKJV) says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

There's your answer….plain and simple.

All you need to do is believe in Him and believe that He sent His son Jesus Christ to die on the cross to save you. It's that easy. You don't have to be a scholar, you don't have to be rich, you don't need anything at all except a desire to live for Christ.

If you don't know God…if you don't know Christ… and you died right now, right this minute, you would be forever seperated from God. He doesn't want that for you and you don't want that for yourself and your family. God knows everything you've ever done in your life…the good, the bad, and the ugly…and He loves you anyway! Isn't that awesome?? He knows every thought, everything you do whether anybody is there watching you or not, and He STILL wants you close to Him.

John 3:16-17 (NKJV) says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (17) For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."

God knows we are not perfect, and He knows we're ALL sinners ...that's right... every last one of us. He knows we're all going to screw up sometimes. But even though we make mistakes, all we have to do is ask for forgiveness from God, turn from our sin, and that's it… it's FORGIVEN.

It's SO EASY to be redeemed!!!

God loves YOU!!!! He loves you so much that he even knew your name before you were born! Did you know that??? The Bible says that God even knows the number of hairs on your head! God loves you and desires a relationship with you! You are important to Him.

If you would like to get to know Jesus right now, recite this prayer:

Dear God,
I am a sinner. I come to you, Lord, asking you to forgive me of my sins through the blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Please come into my life Lord, and help me to turn from my sin and live a life for You. Please be with me Lord and help me to grow closer to you through the power of Your Holy Spirit.

In Christ's name, Amen.

If you just prayed that prayer with a sincere heart to God, the Holy Spirit is filling you up and you are on your way to becoming the person God wants you to be.

Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV) says, "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know."

The best way to grow closer to God is to be in His Word (the Bible) every day. Read His Word and He will show you, through it, what you need to know.
