Cyto says 'It just remind s me how we go through our lives casually abusing each other, joshing chiding being sarcastic and humorously ribbing, laughing at our ignorance and our sin and being blase to the coat of armour we develop over a lifetime of having been abused by others and not being treated in a Godly way'
Cyto says 'think of it almost every interaction you have even from childhood is ungodly in some way theres a tinge of the world on it'
Cyto says 'every new betrayal a baby feels when a parent is wrongly cold to them every heart break when their peers make fun, and we acclimate ourselves to it and become part of it'
Cyto says 'but think of a life where it wasn't the norm where everything was lead by God'
Cyto says 'where people were continually in prayer'
Cyto says 'where people's actions were continually based on God's perfect will down to what they said and thought and where they sat and the looks they gave'
Cyto says 'that could have been possible, that could have been what we had if we didn't sin, and the people in our society could be vastly different products'
Cyto says 'we know some people in our lives who come kinda ...kinda remind of us of what a person like that could be like, innocent, gentle, simple,'
Cyto says 'and when we see them It breaks our hearts to think of the evil the world perpetrates upon them and sometimes we even feel inspired to protect them they are the sort that inspire loyalty and fierce protective instincts in us, perhaps seeing what we know we should be, something so fragile'
Cyto says 'a teacher walked into our office today'
Cyto says 'and she was talking about a kid, Omar'
Cyto says 'omar has a lisp'
Cyto says 'and was in resourse room'
Cyto says 'there was also an emotionally disturbed child in the class'
Cyto says 'and that child and another started making fun of omar imitating his lisp'
Cyto says 'now omar was a good kid in general'
Cyto says 'and apparently he inspired those feelings in her'

Cyto says 'and Epheians 5 tells us a bit how to stay the People God intended us to be even though we've gotten very far away from it, even though weve gotten calloused and jaded and rough enough to be perpetrators ourselves'

Leia says 'so this chapter is like a sit down talk from the Lord to us to tell us how to better follow in His footsteps ... Kinda like a Dad talk on being good. And we can become sanctified by following His advise... right? '

Cyto says 'that might even be the main point of it, but paul and God manaege to work in all kinds of stuff about theology and the nature of the relationship and stuff but basically yeah'
Cyto says 'in verse 2 it says walk in love just as Christ also loved'
Cyto says 'and gave himself for us an offering and a sacrafice to God as a Fragrant aroma'
Cyto says 'okay now i want you to think of that not just as love'
Cyto says 'it said walk in Love'
Cyto says 'and be imitators of God'
Cyto says 'this isn't just an emotion'
Cyto says 'its a way of life'

Cyto says 'something that permeates your being, its the entire consciousness in your head that flavors how you look at the world your perspective your being practically'
Cyto says 'when i'm being really far from God i feel wow i'm being really excrementy'
Cyto says 'and when I'm being close to God i'm feeling this is who i am'
Cyto says 'and when you get to know someone and you see them interacting and loving and talking and the way they act you get a sort of feeling when you look at them of who the person is a sorta fragrance you may even know what they're sthinking....its this person is this kind of person'
Cyto says 'i want that fragrance to be the fragrance that is me always'
Cyto says 'but immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be among you as is proper among saints'
Cyto says 'those things spoil the flavor'
Cyto says 'sometimes you think well i can be greedy or i can have lots of sex with lots of people or i can talk about excrement a lot and i can still love people, but it changes the flavor, not just of you but the entire body, when one person in a church lets this stuff in, it can alter the perception of the body because we are one body and we affect each other and people perceive us as one to an extent'

Cyto says 'and there must be no filthiness and silly talk or coarse jesting which are not fitting but rather giving of thanks'
Cyto says 'see there it talks specifically about coarse jesting'

Cyto says 'those things color who we are and how we are perceived and how ...other people become, we effect other peop;le and we effect ourselves when we do that stuff'

Cyto says 'the teacher kept coming in and they ksaid we didn't do anything wrong they seemed so inured to the fact that what they did was hurtful and evil'
Cyto says 'a lot of times we may go about in the same ignorant fog and think we're perfectly justified in fact a lot of times we won't even be called on the wounds we inflict because everyone else will think its perfectly alright'
Cyto says 'there will be no sign of what we cause except the tiniest flash in the eyes of the person who sees it or hears it'
Cyto says 'but the effects last longer'
Cyto says 'and what is God saying here'
Cyto says 'we need to be DIFFERENT'

Cyto says 'what a Christian is supposed to be needs to be RADICALLY different from what a unbeliever is'

Cyto says 'The lives we should live, the thoughts we should be thinking the fragrance that should be permeating our consciousness, the communal sonsciousness of the body and the way we treat others needs to be like a new animal'

Cyto says 'and our minds thoughts, actions should have a completely different fragrance'
Cyto says 'For this you know with certainty that no immoral or impure person or covetous man who is an idolater has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God'

Cyto says 'Let no one deceive you with empty words for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience'

Cyto says 'thats kinda characteristic of the whole other fragrance, many empty words, filled with needles poisons, false promises, and delusions to ward off fears of oblivion and judgement'

Cyto says 'for you were formerly darkness but now you are ligth in the Lord walk as children of the light'
Cyto says 'the darkness is a fragrance and the Light is a fragrance'

Cyto says 'you can feel the whole thing permeating you'
Cyto says 'now that you're children of the light walk as children of the light that you don't get the effects of children of darkness, cuz now tha tyou have the whole store open why settle for imaginary food or poisoned meat left for dogs'
Cyto says 'for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth'
Cyto says 'thats the kinda body we produce when we live in the light'
Cyto says 'trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord'
Cyto says 'so we're still being sanctified we're still learning, but a characteristic of children of the light is they're going to desire more, they're going to desire to go to higher depths'
Cyto says 'we're going to desire more God'
Cyto says 'and to please him'

Cyto says 'Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness but instead even expose them for it is disgraceful even to speak of things which are done by them in secret'

Cyto says 'But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light for everything that becomes visible is Light'

Cyto says 'this is saying when there is something seriously wrong it needs to be aired because when its not exposed to the light it festers'
Cyto says 'but when you do confess God actually uses it for the benefit of the saints'

Cyto says 'God's mechanism for dealing with excrement is the Body of christ'
Cyto says 'when you keep things from the body they fester they are a lever satan can use against you you fear discovery and live in shame'
Cyto says 'you are divorced from the body because you fear opening up to them what they'll do if they find out that you are not really a part of them because you have this thing between you'
Jubilamb says 'how can I keep from going into limbo cause I come back and miss those things that I can't see in limbo'
Cyto says 'oh sure you think its none of their business or we can be friends just fine without them knowing this and i can still get spiritual help, i just need to keep this one thing because they won't understand'

Cyto says 'submitting yourself to the spiritual authority of the body can seem like the scariest and most bad idea you can think of, but in reality God works it out'
Cyto says 'that said there are plenty of bad churches out there where if you submit yourself to them they'll betray you and be mean, so this applies to HEALTHY churches with people who are trustworthy'

Cyto says 'in fact i know a lot of people who claim to be very spiritual and Christian but when it comes down to it they make excuses for why they're disobeying and stuff'
Cyto says 'i dealt with one person this week who kept telling me why it was okay for her to date a jew (unsaved)'
Cyto says 'and why there were problems with looking for a Christian dude'
Cyto says 'i know people who are leaders in their churches, and stuff but when it comes down to it they find problems with why they should obey'
Cyto says 'struggling with sin is one thing, being confronted with obvious sin, and not even acknowledging it, thats a problem, and if you're a leader and if the whole church is like that.....well then who's gunna help the young ones to grow'
Cyto says 'there are places where it is flat out dangerous for your spiritual ane emotional health to be places where people will take everything they find out about you and use it against you , places where you don't even know your family is safe and how can you possibly grow there, if you were to have any reason to be there it would be to be like a fireman to try to rescue those that didn't know anything and maybe put the fire out'
Cyto says 'no place is perfect but we need to try to the best of our ability to create that place throught the power of God's Spirit thats like he describes'
Cyto says 'then maybe the hurt and crying kids of the world don't have to learn to stop crying'

Cyto says 'we each have choices to make and its our job to make those choices to the best of our ability according to God's will sometimes people are over us in authority and its their job to make their choices, we each have our place and its okay to disagree with oothers, not everybody has to agree with us, we're each responsibile for following God's will obeying those over us and making the choices we are given and living according to the fragrance of Love of God, its part of God's perfect plan and it involves'
Cyto says 'just knowing that he's got it all under cotrol and trusting him and knowing that he will make it okay and that he loves us'

Cyto says 'when we feel we have to start controlling other people to make the world work right, thats co-dependence and it stemps from a lack of trust, in God and others'

Cyto says 'i kinda associate with the social gathering places of celtic countries like the town center where everyone congregates and talks and is amiable and stuff, kinda like donut shops now but better'

Cyto says 'i wouldn't have to explain myself to anyone, the people at my church are much more supportive, not to diss your peeps or anything'
Cyto says 'in fact i was open with the people at my church'
Cyto says 'and they're not like oh poor deer we're praying for you, they're like kewl'
Jubilamb says 'well, its not that it would be anyone at my church... but if you were trying to witness to someone that was an alcoholic and you said 'i went to a bar last week but I'm a Christian' what kind of impact would that have on the person?'
