Connect to AotC:

There are 4 ways of connecting to AotC MUD.

The Windows Telnet Client. Prior to Windows 2000 the Windows Telnet Client had no color support. The newer versions do, but all suffer from scrolling and command issues.
Java Connection, which is better than Telnet but still has a couple flaws.
Downloading a dedicated MUDding telnet client such as zMUD, GMud, MUSHclient, MudMagic, etc. This is by far the best choice. To connect via Telnet or a MUDding client, input the following information:
Host: aotcmud.org
Port: 4200

++ - The MudMagic supports full foreground color, cut, paste, large scrollback, ansi8 characters, but no command line scrollback or grid support.
* - The cup-o mud connection does not currently support color. It does however support copy/paste functionality, twenty command scrollback history, and will be worked on to be our newer java connection. If you decide to use this to connect to AotC, you will probably see the color codes initially. Once logged in, simply type 'colour' and all should look clear.
